Winter Hearth Fragrance Oil

All of our fragrances come supplied in high quality leak-proof HDPE bottles which helps prevent leaching. What is leaching? If using cheap quality plastic or unsuitable plastic bottles, unwanted compounds attached to the plastic itself can actually be transferred into your fragrance. This will then be transferred into your final formulation.

Our fragrance oils are designed to smell similar to the perfume and / or aftershave. Name, trademarks and copyrights are properties of their respective manufacturers and/or designers. These versions are NOT to be confused with the originals and DIY Cosmetics has no affiliation with the manufacturer/designer. Our interpretation of these fragrances was created through GCMS Headspace analysis and our title, image and description is to give the customer an idea of scent character, not to mislead, confuse the customer or infringe on the manufacturers/designers name and valuable trademark.

This product is suitable for:

Home fragrancing including room and linen sprays, reed diffusers, car diffusers, wax melts and candles.

Toiletries including soaps (Melt & Pour & Cold Process), bath bombs, lotions, bath salts, slime and more.

These fragrances are highly concentrated therefore please excerise caution when using. The percentage to add is going to vary from product to product. We recommend 5-10% v/w in wax and 25% v/v in reed diffuser oils. For example in 1kg of candle wax we would recommend using 50-100mL of fragrance for a strong scent throw. If making reed diffuser oil we would recommend adding 25-30mL of fragrance to 70mL reed diffuser oil. Please note: scents are all naturally slightly different strengths, so usage will vary from one fragrance to another and from one wax type to another. We highly recommend testing each oil thoroughly before batch production as results may vary based on individual recipes.
